Our Promise: Cleaning That Respects Your Life

Cleaning shouldn’t add to your mental load. We show up with supplies, good energy, and a clear plan—then leave you with a fresh space and one less thing on your list.

CalmNest is built for busy renters, families, and neurodivergent clients who want reliable, judgment-free help that simply works.

Our Story

CalmNest started in 2022, when Jess Parker—a former operations and project-management lead—saw how a judgment-free, checklist-driven clean lowered stress in her own ADHD household. Weekend move-outs for neighbors in Northbridge turned into a local company with a simple mission: help people come home to calm.

Today we’re a close-knit team serving Northbridge, Riverside, Oak Hill, and West Park. We still operate the way Jess did from day one—listening first, setting clear expectations, and treating every home with the care we’d want for our own.

How We Work

Listen first, clean second

Every home and brain is different. We start with your goals and boundaries—not a one-size-fits-all template.

Judgment-free, always

Whether you’re in survival-mode clutter or just hate scrubbing ovens, we meet you where you are. No lectures. No shame. Just progress.

Clear, kind communication

Quotes by email outline what’s included and the price. You’ll get arrival windows, “on-the-way” alerts, and a short optional prep checklist—so there are no surprises.

Neuro-inclusive by design

Optional prep checklists, step-by-step emails, and post-clean summaries support different brains and schedules. Tell us what helps; we’ll mirror it.

Eco-minded on request

Standard supplies are non-toxic and pet-safe; plant-based, low-scent products are always an easy yes. We’ll save your preference for next time.

Jess Parker, Founder & Chief Nest-Builder

Eight years in ops taught Jess that clarity and kindness beat chaos. She built CalmNest to blend project-management discipline with judgment-free service—especially helpful for neurodivergent clients and busy families.

Dante Reyes — Team Lead, Oak Hill & West park

Six years in residential cleaning; big on HEPA, tidy entryways, and details you’ll actually notice.

(You may meet more of our small crew—each trained, insured, and background-checked. We try to keep a consistent team for recurring visits whenever schedules allow.)

What “Respecting Your Life” Looks Like

  • We work around your routines. Sleeping baby? Zoom call? We reorder rooms to give you quiet when you need it.

  • We match the plan to your bandwidth. Prefer we focus on kitchens and baths only? Or one “reset” room per visit? Done.

  • We document preferences. From eco products to “please email, not call,” your preferences stay on file.

  • We leave you better than we found you. Clear counters, tidy touch points, and that first deep breath when you walk back in.

What We Don’t Do (And Why)

We don’t service active pest situations, biohazard/hoarding conditions, or exterior windows above the 2nd floor. These require specialized teams or equipment. When possible, we’ll refer you. (Read our Service Policies here.)

Our Core Promises

  1. Reliable arrival, respectful presence — We show up within your window and treat your home like it’s our own.

  2. Transparent quotes — Clear price and scope approved by you before we start.

  3. Judgment-free help — Real life is messy. We’re here to lighten the load.

  4. 72-hour satisfaction guarantee — If we miss something, we’ll return to make it right.

  5. Continuous improvement — We invite feedback after every clean and use it to get better.
